Melissa Sinkovic is a 2002 graduate of the University of Toledo in Ohio with a bachelor degree in Art Education and has her MA in Art Education from The University of Toledo in 2005.

Melissa truly believes art is an important part of each of our lives. Each child at La Grange has the ability to create artwork that is inspiring to themselves and those around them.  We all have imaginative thoughts and often these are best expressed through artwork.

Melissa keeps digital photo-documented portfolios of student artwork.

A school-wide art show and a reception is featured in late spring where La Grange Elementary student artwork is on display along with an evening reception to recognize the young artists. 

Melissa uses art resource suitcases to enhance student’s learning processes in the art room.  These suitcases are filled with hands-on materials, visual aids, music and books that will correlate with studies in art processes, artists, and various cultures.  They have been designed to help to make your child’s visual art studies more meaningful.
